CapoIf you want

I use a travis picking pattern but don't alternate bass.
I play this without a capo but capo where you are comfortable. Sometimes I capo on the second or first fret depending on how tired my voice is. It's all good. Women might need to start on the second fret if your voice is high.
If you can't play an F chord, capo at the second fret (4th if you started on the second) and substitute an A for a C, a D for an F, a D2 for the F/A, an E for the G, Em for the Gm and D for the Am.

C F F/A C

Fly like a raven, black honey into the night

C F G C

Soft like the air beneath, a smile in her flight

C F F/A C

Then return back home to bed and bring the dancing stars

C F

Sleep and dream of a white wolf howling

    G C

And know that I am near

G

Shh, close your eyes, don't ask why,

      F C

Let's dream, together, you and I

G

Oh, close your eyes, we will fly,

F C

Dreaming, together, you and I

C F

The moon has sailed a silver gown of stars

       F/A C

That's long, but not forever

C F

Soon her love will rise as mine

    G C

And sing to the shadows

C F

Tomorrow we shall rise with the dawn

         F/A C

Kiss the flowers and bloom

C F

But, now, lie still as the wind and listen

    G C

For I will come to you with the foot steps of morning

G

Shh, close your eyes, don't ask why,

      F C

Let's dream, together, you and I

Oh, close your eyes, we can fly
